Emergency Shelter

Get Shelter

Restoring & Preserving the Dignity of Humanity through Jesus Christ

Our goal is to restore & preserve the dignity of human beings through the love of Jesus Christ. The shelter offers people experiencing homelessness a safe environment, bed, hot meals, & access to showers & bathrooms.  The option to enter the drug & alcohol stabilization & treatment program is always presented.

NEED SHELTER?

Requirements

Emergency Shelter Eligibility:

· Guests must be 18 years & older or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

· A valid, non-expired, & acceptable identification must be presented.

· Everyone is required to be sober & is given a breathalyzer at the time of bed sign-up.

· Proof of marriage is required for couples wishing to stay at the Family Shelter together.

Services

Supportive Services & Refuge:

  • The shelter provides a safe haven for families, women, & men escaping abusive environments.
  • Spiritual counseling, prayer, & case management services are available to all guests, offering guidance & support during their stay.

Children at the shelter

The Goal

Our goal is to provide services that make the least disruption for the children but result in the most help for the parents. We coordinate with schools to help them avoid negative consequences. We help with everything from enrollment in school or daycare to referrals to health care & other agencies.

Focused on Family

Our team is made up of dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping others. From our administrative staff to our counselors & volunteers, we are all committed to providing the best possible care to those in need.

Our Accomplishments

Crossroads Mission has achieved many milestones over the years, including expanding our facilities, increasing our outreach efforts, and launching new programs to better serve our guests. We praise God for what we have accomplished, but there is still much work to be done.
