Matthew 25:35 (NIV)
Crossroads Mission is a non-profit organization serving the homeless, needy, and poor of Yuma County without regard to race, color, national origin, religious background, sex or handicap. We depend on the national contributions of concerned individuals and organizations.
Crossroads Mission has impacted the lives of many people. We area a faith-based, Christian organization that wants to make a difference. We believe that everyone can start fresh and live the abundant life that God meant for us to have. That is why we offer programs that help those battling with substance abuse and homelessness.
Crossroads Mission has served the Yuma community since 1959. What started as a group kitchen effort has now grown into a multi-service organization that continues to grow right along with the needs of the community. When people of all walks of life find themselves at the crossroads in their life, we do our best to help them choose the path that will most likely result in a better quality of life.
In addition to feeding program participants and overnight guests, we offer free meals three times a day, including weekends and holidays to the general public.
We offer a detox program for adult men and women who are struggling with drug and alcohol addictions. We offer a 12-step residential program. The Detox center is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
We offer adult women, parents with children, and families with free overnight shelter for up to 10 days. The shelter is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
We offer free overnight shelter, up to 10 days, to single adult men. The shelter is open 24 hours, seven days a week.
We provide GED preparation courses, computer skills, and more, to help program participants and guests succeed. Free and open to the public.
We offer a transitional housing program that focuses on goal setting and achievement, as well as employment location and retention of homeless guests who require more than 10 days of shelter.
